Pulwama parts shuts to mourn the killing of four Jaish militants

Anantnag, Dec 30 : A complete shutdown on Sunday is being observed amid chilling winter in South Kashmir’s Pulwama town and its adjoining areas to mourn the killings of four Jaish militants.

Four Jaish militants were killed in an encounter in Hajin Payeen area of Rajpora village in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday.

All shops and other business establishments are closed while traffic is also thin on roads.

The security forces are deployed at many locations in parts of Pulwama to thwart any “element of violence”.

However authorities at railway suspended train services from Banihal to Srinagar as a precautionary measure while on wards is playing as per schedule.

Meanwhile hundreds of people attend last rites of minor kid who was killed in a mysterious blast in south Kashmir’s Pulwama village.

10 year old Arif Ahmed Dar son of Abdul Gani Dar resident of Larrow succumbed to his injuries at SMHS hospital on Saturday evening after he was critically injured in a mysterious blast when he was grazing cattle’s in the field at Gadoora village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama.

Reports and eyewitnesses said hundreds of people participated in the last of 10 year old’s funeral prayers and was later buried an ancestral graveyard in his native village.
