Sangrama residents protest, demand repair of dameged transformer

Baramulla, Jan 14 : Residents of  Sangrama area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday held protest against PDD department for failed to repair their damaged transformer.
Reports said that protesting residents while raising slogans against the high ups of Power Development Department(PDD) said that since past month the entire area has been reeling under darkness due to damaged transformer, they said that department has completely failed to repair the damaged transformer.
The protesting residents blocked Srinagar-Baramulla National Highway at Sangrama and demanded restoration of damaged transformer at earliest.
Meanwhile Tehsildar Sopore accompanied with a team of police reached the spot and assured the protestors that matter will be taken to higher authorities.
