Violation of norms by JKPSC alleged in DPC for finance department

Srinagar, Jan 27 : The DPC held by JKPSC for ETOs and STOs of Finance Department has raised some eyebrows as the proposal and minutes of DPC have been allegedly formulated in haste and gross violation of norms to adjust some blue eyed officials.

Sources revealed that the incumbency/chart roaster was not prepared while preparing such document which resulted in utilization of Direct recruitment vacancies for regularization of promotes.

Besides, they said, 30% leave/deputation/training reserve posts have been utilized for their regularisation in contrary to GAD’s repeated direction.

Some vacancies, source said, have been reserved in order to favour blue eyed candidates. Some SROs have been issued to give retrospective effects to benefit blue eyed candidates. Despite repeated requests by some agitated candidates, it has been learnt that Finance department was not providing copy of minutes/proposal. They said only a copy of regularisation order issued vide Govt order No 31 FD of 2019 dated 18-1-2019 has been made public.

The agitated candidates have requested the Governor and the Chief secretary to intervene in the matter to keep the regularisation order issued by Finance department in abyeance till the grievances of agitated candidates is redressed.
