Kargil leaders united permanent headquarter in Leh



Jammu 9 February: In Jammu and Kashmir an all Party Meeting of all the political Parties of Kargil  Ladakh was called at Boys Hostel Channi Rama by the Chief Executive Councillor LAHDC Kargil Froz Ahmad Khan in which all the political leaders including Chairman J&K Legislative Council Haji Anayat Ali, Executive Councillor Zakir Hussain  Former Minister Qamar Ali Akhone, Former MLA and CEC Haji Asgar Ali Karbalia, Former MLA Haji Nissar Ali , Former CEC Kacho Ahmad Ali Khan, Former MP Ghulam Hassan Khan, President NC and Former CEC Haji Hanifa Jan, and other Councillors, and Political Leaders attended.
During a Joint Press Conference, the leaders told that Divisional Status was the long pending Demand of People of Kargil Ladakh and People of Leh Never demanded Divisional Status and this order of the government has ignored the main portion of the society of Ladakh demanding Divisional Status which is a discriminatory decision.
The leaders condemned the decision and requested the Governor Satya Paul Malik to Review the Decision and should make the Headquarter on rotational basis six month of summer in Kargil and Six month of Winter in Leh, else all the democratically elected representatives whether it be a Panch, a Counselor, CEC or Chairman LC J&K will give Mass Resignation.
Soon after the official announcement of Divisional Status for Ladakh headquartered at Leh, the people of Kargil started showing their resentment and social media waved with comments and status raising objection.
Soon after the order Chairman J&K Legislative Council and MLC Kargil Haji Anayat Ali called the decision, an action taken in haste and requested the Governor to review the decision in view of the aspirations of the people and ensure equitable distribution of infrastructure of the said Division as per the wishes of the people and requirements in the region.
Religious Organization Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust raised their objection during a press conference alleged that Governor Administration is trying to act on the direction of BJP to make pave for 2019 election and told that the organization will fight upto any extent for getting the due share of the people of Ladakh equally and will try to bring all sections of the society on one platform to raise the issue.
