Training cum awareness on EVM, VVPAT concludes at Ganderbal

 GANDERBAL, FEBRUARY 13:  The training cum awareness programme organised under Systematic Voter Education Electoral Participation (SVEEP), to intimate hands-on training about EVM/VVAT concluded here today.

The camp, under the supervision of Additional District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal was attended by the newly elected Sarpanchs, Panchs and Political workers of district.

Terming the elected members as an important part of the electoral awareness generation programme launched by the district administration, he stressed upon the trainees to take keen interest in the training programme so that poll process will be carried out smoothly and in a peaceful manner.

Highlighting the importance of elections and people’s participation in polls, he said that no genuine voter will be left un-registered in the district to ensure maximum participation in the upcoming polls.

Master trainers for the operation of the EVMs and VVPAT machines informed the trainees about its functioning in detail and explained the functioning of Ballot Unit, Control Unit and other allied functions and operations of the electronic voting machines.
