FCS&CA, health department issue orders amid panic in Kashmir

Srinagar: After the order to deploy a hundred additional Central Armed Police Force (CAPF), and a late-night massive crackdown on Hurriyat, and Jamaat-i-Islami leaders, the order from Government of Jammu and Kashmir Directorate of Health Service issued a letter in view of prevailing situations, “it is impressed upon all the Chief Medical Officers to collect the available supplies of drugs, medicine, surgical disposal item, and other allied items.”

The letter addressed to the health officials, also mentioned the name of hospitals including, “District Hospitals from the JKMSCL Regional Drug War, GMC Bemina, Srinagar,” and added that it should be done by “just tomorrow”. On the ending note of “Matter most urgent.”

 

In another letter, issued by the Directorate of FCS&CA Kashmir, from the Department of Food, Civil Supplies, and consumer affairs (Srinagar), the TSO’s of Srinagar were directed to ensure complete sake of foodgrains by today evening. The letter read, “Furthermore all the sale centers/FP Shops of Srinagar south shall remain open tomorrow for sale of foodgrain in the interest of general public.”
