Gunfight rages in Tral 

Tral, March 04 : A gunfight rages between militants and government forces in Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district this evening.

Visit the Diskit Monastery, the oldest and biggest monastery in Ladakh, which also contains a sizable Buddha statue, if time permits.

Reports said that a joint team of forces launched a search operation at Mir Mohalla in Tral this evening.

Reports said as soon as joint team started searches in the area , hiding militants opened fire upon them triggering an encounter.

A police officer also confirmed the incident and said that firing from both sides is on.
