Police arrests 3 drug peddlers in Sopore

Sopore,March 05 : Police on Tuesday claimed to have arresred three drug peddlers in north Kashmir’s Sopore and have recovered large quantity of illegal drug from them.
Police in a statement said that during different naka checking at Laiser Crossing and Parrypora Crossing three persons were held along with charas.
Police identified all arrested drug peddlers as Yasir Mushtaq Lone son of Mushtaq Ahmad Lone resident of Patoosa Rafiabad alongwith his associate Omer Farooq Mir son of Farooq Ahmad Mir resident of Tragpora ,Showkat Ahmad Khan son of Ghulam Rasool Khan and Manzoor Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar resident of Reban Sopore.
In this regard police have registered cases for two different efforts with bearing numbers FIR No. 24/2019 U/S 8/20,29 NDPS Act and FIR No. 26/2019 U/S 8/20,29 NDPS Act in Police Station Dangiwacha and further investigation have been initiated for both cases police statement further reads.
