Srinagar: The National Investigation Agency on Saturday summoned Hurriyat Conference (M) chairperson Mirwaiz Umar Farooq to its headquarters in New Delhi.
Mirwaiz has bee asked to present himself before the investigators at its New Delhi head office, sources said.
The NIA is conducting investigations into an alleged funding case in the valley. Many Hurriyat leaders have been detained at New Delhi’s Tihar jail in the case.
