Two employees suspended for making mass transfer list viral in Budgam

Budgam, Mar 12, : Department of Education Tuesday placed two employees under suspension for making ‘mass transfer’ list of teacher viral on social media.

Prepare for the greatest experience after eating a nutritious breakfast. You will travel over some of the highest passes in the world on your adventure, and you will be greeted by ever-changing vistas of the desolate landscape. Stop at the café on Khardung-La Pass, the highest all-season motorable road in the world, and take in the scenery; you'll feel as though you're on top of the world. Upon leaving Khardung-la, the terrain changes to a white sand desert as you approach the Nubra Valley, which is home to the Nubra Sand Dunes. Visit the Diskit Monastery, the oldest and biggest monastery in Ladakh, which also contains a sizable Buddha statue, if time permits.

Reports said that Government of Jammu and Kashmir Office of the Chief Education Officer, Budgam had accorded the sanction to the mass transfer of teachers. Reports added that a list of over 500 teachers posted in different schools of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district had been prepared and it was dully signed by Chief Education Officer Budgam Mrs Fatima Tak.

Insiders told news agency that without the approval of Chief Education Officer Budgam, two employees from the CEO Officer put the list on WahtsApp thus making it viral.

“The viral list created panic among teachers. Majority of them used influence to either stop the transfer or change the place of posting,” said an insider not ruling out ‘give and take’ mantra.

Insiders said that during the probe the names of two employees surfaced who were immediately suspended for violating the norms.

“Yes, two employees have been suspended for making the transfer list public. One is a Senior Assistant, another is a Junior one,” Chief Education Officer Budgam Fatima Tak told CNS.
