Geelani condemns PSA dossier on JKLF chief Malik

Srinagar, Mar 14:  Commenting on the dossier of slapping PSA on JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik, Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani on Thursday said that the “health” of these allegations is known to everybody and people very well understand the mindset behind such “baseless accusations”.

Prepare for the greatest experience after eating a nutritious breakfast. You will travel over some of the highest passes in the world on your adventure, and you will be greeted by ever-changing vistas of the desolate landscape. Stop at the café on Khardung-La Pass, the highest all-season motorable road in the world, and take in the scenery; you'll feel as though you're on top of the world. Upon leaving Khardung-la, the terrain changes to a white sand desert as you approach the Nubra Valley, which is home to the Nubra Sand Dunes. Visit the Diskit Monastery, the oldest and biggest monastery in Ladakh, which also contains a sizable Buddha statue, if time permits.

Geelani in a statement issued said: “The decades old cases have been discussed threadbare and the courts have acquitted the accused long back, but even after acquittal they again try to dig out these dead horses to quench the thirst of the collective conscience.”

He said that not only the leadership but the majority of the people are victims of this “vandalism and lawlessness” for the last seven decades.

“Allegations like disturbing peace, threatening citizen’s lives or attacking schools, against pro-freedom leadership is not even worth any response as such childish accusations just need to be laughed at,” he said.

Hurriyat (G) chairman said that before signing such dossiers, our educated bureaucracy and judicial fraternity need to apply their own mind and intellect as well, because by doing such “silly” things. their wisdom also becomes questionable.

“Instead of these childish actions, Delhi rulers need to get to the ground realities and show some bravery to defuse the volcano in waiting lest it may be too late to mend the situation,” Geelani said.
