We don’t want to orphan anyone, but you compel us: Riyaz Naikoo to alleged informer

Srinagar : “How many times should we forgive you? Didn’t we forgive you for your involvement in four earlier encounters? your actions have left us with no options. What should we do? you tell us” Hizbul Mujahideen commander Riyaz Naikoo can be heard asking an alleged informer in a video that has gone viral on social media.

Prepare for the greatest experience after eating a nutritious breakfast. You will travel over some of the highest passes in the world on your adventure, and you will be greeted by ever-changing vistas of the desolate landscape. Stop at the café on Khardung-La Pass, the highest all-season motorable road in the world, and take in the scenery; you'll feel as though you're on top of the world. Upon leaving Khardung-la, the terrain changes to a white sand desert as you approach the Nubra Valley, which is home to the Nubra Sand Dunes. Visit the Diskit Monastery, the oldest and biggest monastery in Ladakh, which also contains a sizable Buddha statue, if time permits.

Holding a gun and wearing a Pheran, Naikoo can be seen talking to an alleged informer.

Unlike other videos of the militant outfit, this video does not involve any violence or harsh language nor does Naikoo resort to any interrogation.

But rather Naikoo gives an impression of holding a grudge against the man who appears to be middle aged.

Sporting a beard, the man also seems to be calm, as Naikoo in a low tone goes on seeking answers from the alleged informer who according to Naikoo had been an informer of four encounters including one at his home.

The bearded man nods occasionally while playing with his beard.

“We know that you have families, so we forgive you even for getting our militant colleagues killed for one or two times, but this cannot happen always,” Naikoo is heard telling this man.

Naikoo also reminds the man of his uncle’s “martyrdom’ ” Isn’t your uncle a martyr, don’t you realise that?” Naikoo asks the man.

“Many people of Kashmir call us (Militants) terrorists and think we are inhumane, but it is not that we kill informers at the first time, we forgive them and provide them a chance to retrospect, tell us what should we do? ” Riyaz Naikoo is heard saying in this video.

“Militants do not want to orphan anyone, but you force us to. What should we do? we have forgiven you many a times, even when you informed army about militant presence in many South Kashmir areas, we forgave you in 2016 because you have young children, but you have been repeating your mistakes and getting Militants killed,” Riyaz Naikoo is heard telling this man.

“We are humans too. We have conscience too. We do not like spilling blood, your death will do me no good, I will not earn anything by killing you, but we cannot forgive you every time,” Riyaz tells the man.

According to The Kashmiriyat the man in the video is Manzoor Ahmad Lone, a resident of Dogripora.

Manzoor, a resident of Pulwama’s Awantipora belt was kidnapped from his house and was shot dead by Militants, in Gulzarpora, Awantipora on Thursday.
