Jammu, March 18: Advisor Governor KK Sharma has expressed grief over demise of Shri Manohar Parrikar, Chief Minister of Goa,who passed away yesterday after after a prolonged illness of pancreatic cancer.
While recalling his assocation and paying rich tributes to Shri Parrikar, Advisor described him astute legislator who would vociferously project public issues.He was also a widely respected public figure and an able administrator whose selfless service to the nation will always be remembered.
“Inspite of his frail health he would leave his bed and be on roads and in office to do his best towards his state of Goa. This he did till his last days ,a lesson for all to emulate”,the Advisor added.
The Advisor has also prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to bereaved family members to bear this irrepairable loss.
Meanwhile, Governor has also deputed Advisor Sharma to represent the State at official ceremony to be held at Goa.
