Srinagar, March 19 : A woman on Tuesday morning attempted suicide by jumping into river Jhelum in summer capital.
Reports said that a woman (name withheld) jumped into Jhelum this morning at Safakadal area in Kashmir’s capital.However nearby people when saw jumped into the river and rescued the woman reports added.
Meanwhile a police official also confirmed the incident and said that a team reached the spot and taken the woman to Hospital. Officer said that further investigation in this regard has been initiated.
