Woman jumps into Jehlum in Kashmir’s Capital

Srinagar, March 19 : A woman on Tuesday morning attempted suicide by jumping into river Jhe­lum in summer capital.

Reports said that a woman (name with­held) jumped into Jhelum this morning at Safakadal area in Kashmir’s capital.However nearby people when saw jumped into the river and rescued the woman reports added.

Meanwhile a police official also confirmed the incident and said that a team reached the spot and taken the woman to Hos­pital. Officer said that further investigation in this regard has been initiated.
