Two militants killed in Wapora Sopore gunfight, Operation on

Srinagar, March 22 : The encounter between militants and government forces at Warpora area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district entered the second day on Friday and two militants has been killed so far, an army spokesman in a statement said.

“Two militants have been killed in a gunfight so far and operation is in progress,” the spokesman said.
Meanwhile, lights have been installed and cordon in the area is intact.

The encounter broke out at Mir Mohalla area of Warpora Sopore after a joint team of Army’s 22 RR, special operation group of police and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in the area on Thursday morning.
