College student found dead in Kashmir’s Capital 

Srinagar, April 21 : A body of class 2nd year student was recovered under mysterious conditions from Astanapora area of Rawalapora in Srinagar district on Sunday afternoon.

Reports reaching said that some locals spotted the body lying at Astanapora in Rawalapora and immediately informed police about it.

Soon after being informed, a police team reached the spot and recovered the body, they said.

A police officer also confirmed the incident and identified the deceased as Umar Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, a 2nd year student at Amar Singh College here.

The officer said that the body has been recovered under mysterious conditions.

“A case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations initiated in this regard, the officer said. (GNS)
