Mehbooba pays tributes to Qazi Nisar on his 25th death anniversary

Anantnag, June 19,: Former Chief Minister and President Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday paid rich and glowing tributes to renowned Islamic Scholar Qazi Nissar Ahmad on his 25th death anniversary.

Prepare for the greatest experience after eating a nutritious breakfast. You will travel over some of the highest passes in the world on your adventure, and you will be greeted by ever-changing vistas of the desolate landscape. Stop at the café on Khardung-La Pass, the highest all-season motorable road in the world, and take in the scenery; you'll feel as though you're on top of the world. Upon leaving Khardung-la, the terrain changes to a white sand desert as you approach the Nubra Valley, which is home to the Nubra Sand Dunes. Visit the Diskit Monastery, the oldest and biggest monastery in Ladakh, which also contains a sizable Buddha statue, if time permits.

Mehbooba described Qazi Nissar as a noted religious scholar and political leader who had dedicated his life for getting the state out of the cycle of chaos, uncertainty and conflict.

The PDP President added that Late Qazi Nisaar worked with most earnest efforts for the upliftment of the downtrodden and weaker sections of the society. “He was a noble soul and a leader with political astuteness. He battled against various forces very bravely and was a man with a genuine spirit of patriotism. May his soul rest in peace,” Mehbooba said her message.
