Day 4: Body of Baramulla drowned youth retrieved from Uri

Uri, July 24 : The body of a drowned Baramulla youth fished out from a dam in Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.

Reports reaching said body of the teenager who had drowned in river Jhelum on Sunday when he was taking a bath to beat the heat has been fished out on day 4th from a dam at Uri power project-II.

However, the body was taken to Sub District hospital Uri where he has been later identified as Momin Manzoor son of Manzoor Ahmed of Jallsheeri.

A police officer also confirmed to news agency and said that after legal formalities, the body will be handed over to legal heirs for last rites. (GNS)
