NIA carrys out fresh raids in Baramulla

Barramulla, July 28 : In fresh raids National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Sunday conducted searches at four places in connection with a terror funding case.

Sources told that the team of NIA accompanied by police and paramilitary CRPF arrived at conducted searches of another trader in old town Baramulla.

Pertinently, NIA team had conducted searches in Baramulla businessman’s house Gawhar Ahmed Bhat son of Mohammad Akbar Bhat of Mir Sahib old town Baramulla and to Sanaullah Bhat of Krankshivan locality Sopore.

Earlier also NIA carried raids in parts of Kashmir in connection with the funding case registered by the probe agency. So far many hurriyat conference leaders besides some business men have been arrested by the NIA and most of them are lodged in Tihar Jail in New Delhi.
