Shopian Encounter: Militant, army solidier killed, operation on

Srinagar, July 30: A militant and a army soldier were killed after a fierce gunfight broke out between militants and government forces in Pandushan area of South Kashmir’s Shopian District on Friday.

Official sources told that in exchange of firing one militant, one army man were killed also one armyman injured.

As per the official source Operation in the area is in final stage. The identity of the slain militant is yet to be ascertained.

Earlier Reports reaching said that a joint team of Army’s 34 RR, SOG and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Pandushan area.(GNS)
