Advisor Kumar visits injured apple trader at SMHS Hospital

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 21: Advisor to Governor, K Vijay Kumar today visited SMHS Hospital to enquire about the condition of apple trader who was injured in militant firing in Shopian on October 16.

Visit the Diskit Monastery, the oldest and biggest monastery in Ladakh, which also contains a sizable Buddha statue, if time permits.

Principal GMC Srinagar Dr. Parvaiz Ahmad Shah, Medical Superintendent SMHS Hospital Dr Nazir Choudhary and senior doctors were present during the visit.

The Advisor visited the Surgical ICU where the doctors looking after the injured apple trader namely Sanjeev briefed him about his condition and the treatment they are giving to the injured person.

It was informed that the condition of the injured apple trader is stable and the team of doctors is regularly monitoring his condition and accordingly the treatment is given for his early recovery.

The Advisor asked the doctors to provide best possible treatment to the injured. He also asked the hospital administration for every kind of support to the family members of the injured who are here at the hospital to look after him.

Meanwhile, during the visit all the heads also briefed the Advisor about the functioning of their departments and other activities. He asked them to create patient friendly atmosphere in the hospital so that people coming at the health institution do not face any inconvenience.

Earlier, the Advisor also visited Bone & Joint Hospital Srinagar where he was apprised by the doctors and hospital administration about the functioning of the important health institution. The Advisor also interacted with the doctors who informed him about patient inflow and facilities that are available at the hospital for the people visiting the hospital for treatment.
