Abrogation of Article 370: Will formulate strategy once leaders are released: NC

Srinagar, Oct 24 : The regional mainstream political party, National Conference (NC) on Wednesday stated that the strategy to challenge the abrogation of Jammu and Kashmir’s special status (Article 370) will be decided once the caged leaders will be released.

Prepare for the greatest experience after eating a nutritious breakfast. You will travel over some of the highest passes in the world on your adventure, and you will be greeted by ever-changing vistas of the desolate landscape. Stop at the café on Khardung-La Pass, the highest all-season motorable road in the world, and take in the scenery; you'll feel as though you're on top of the world. Upon leaving Khardung-la, the terrain changes to a white sand desert as you approach the Nubra Valley, which is home to the Nubra Sand Dunes. Visit the Diskit Monastery, the oldest and biggest monastery in Ladakh, which also contains a sizable Buddha statue, if time permits.

According to the wire service –Member of Parliament and senior NC leader, Muhammad Akbar Lone said that they are yet to come up with the strategy to challenge the abrogation of Article 370, but will be decided once the caged leaders will be released.

The NC leadership including its president Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah are under detention from last 81 days.

Lone said that a day after it was stated that in the court that some leaders including Mustafa Kamal, ANC’s Begum Khalida Shah and Muzaffar Shah are not under house arrest, these leaders decided to come out and address media persons.

He however said that foiling the presser clearly indicates that government is spreading lies. “We went to the residence of Mustafa Kamal where police was disallowing them from addressing media persons. We were also not allowed earlier to meet the leaders but later police officials intervened and allowed us to meet them,” he added.

Notably, the police foiled the scheduled press conference of ANC leader Muzaffar Shah today.

The media persons who were invited for the presser reached the venue of presser, but police officials present there disallowed them from attending the scheduled news conference.
