Altaf Bukhari grieved over demise of Maqbool Veeray

SRINAGAR, Dec 26: Former finance minister Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari has expressed deep shock and grief over the demise of senior journalistMaqbool Veeri who passed away on Wednesday evening.

In a statement issued here, Bukhari described late Veeri as a thorough gentleman whose demise has caused a void in media fraternity. “He was an excellent journalist, writer and a poet known for his political satire,” recalled Bukhari.  

Expressing solidarity with the bereaved family, the former finance minister prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and endurance for his family, friends and acquaintances   to bear this irreparable loss.
