Pulwama, Feb 19: Three militants were killed in a Gunfight which broke out in Diver area of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama District on Tuesday night.
An official told Kashmir Indepth, a search operation was launched by mixture of forces at Diver village of Tral turned into an encounter after militants fired on the search party.
Bodies of three militants were retrieved from the site of the encounter, however the identities and affiliation of the militants are yet to be known official added.
Earlier Army’s 42RR, SOG and 180/185 Bn CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Diver area following inputs about presence of militants in the area.
