On Day1 Of Schooling, Lecturer Dies

A pall of gloom deceased in Villagam area of Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district when the news about the death of a young lecturer reached in the area.

Reports said that the lecture was on way to school when he met with an accident at Herpora, Punzwa after losing control of his vehicle which collided with an electric pole, resulting in serious injuries to him.

The lecture has been identified as Mohammad Ashraf Qureshi Son of Yahya Qureshi of Punzwa village of Villagam.

An eye witness said that soon after the incident he was rushed to District Hospital Handwara in unconscious conditions where from he was shifted to SMHS Srinagar for advanced treatment. However, doctors there declared him brought dead on arrival,

A police officer said that a case has been registered and investigation has been taken up (KNS).
