Srinagar, April 27:Three militants were killed in an encounter which broke between goverment forces and militants in Lower Munda Area of Qazigund in South Kashmir’s Kulgam District on Monday morning.
Official sources told that three militants were killed in a gunfight. However identity of the slain militant is yet to be ascertained.
Till this report was being filed searches in the area was still on.
Earlier reports reaching said that a joint team of Police and army’s 19 RR launched cordon and search operation in Lower Munda.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them, triggering an encounter.(GNS)
