Director RDD Kashmir inspects ongoing works in Kulgam

KULGAM, JUNE 06:  Director Rural Development Department, Kashmir Qazi Sarwar today inspected several work projects in district Kulgam to review progress and achievements under various schemes and flagship programs.

He took stocks of various ongoing projects in D.K.Marg, Chimmer, D.H.Pora, Khull, Zungalpora, Devsar and other areas in the district.

The Director inaugurated a bridge at Chimmer Noorabad, constructed under MGNREGA scheme at a cost of 12.90 lacs, he impressed upon the concerned officers to expedite pace on all work projects that are under execution in the district.

To revive rural economy in view of prevailing situation, it was enjoined upon all the concerned officers to take up all work projects besides ensuring strict adherence to guidelines and safety protocols at all work sites during prevailing crisis.

The Director later chaired a meeting of officers and took a detailed review of all work projects.

ACD briefed the Director about the ongoing works and assured that all the projects will be completed within stipulated time.   

The Director on the occasion was accompanied by SE, RDD, ACD, BDO’s and other officials of the district.
