Medical cum Covid-19 Awareness Camp held at APC Parihaspora

Food kits & Immunity boosting medicines (Homeopathic) distributed among the needy people

Srinagar, June 12: On the occasion of Police Raising Day, a medical cum Covid-19 awareness camp was organized by IRP 20th Bn at APC Parihaspora in collaboration with Borderless World Foundation NGO.

Prepare for the greatest experience after eating a nutritious breakfast. You will travel over some of the highest passes in the world on your adventure, and you will be greeted by ever-changing vistas of the desolate landscape. Stop at the café on Khardung-La Pass, the highest all-season motorable road in the world, and take in the scenery; you'll feel as though you're on top of the world. Upon leaving Khardung-la, the terrain changes to a white sand desert as you approach the Nubra Valley, which is home to the Nubra Sand Dunes. Visit the Diskit Monastery, the oldest and biggest monastery in Ladakh, which also contains a sizable Buddha statue, if time permits.

The free medical camp was organized while following social distancing norms and other protocols. Besides officers/officials from IRP 20th Bn, a large number of locals of the nearby areas also attended the camp.

While addressing the participants, Mrs. Jaya Iyer & Dr. Disha team members of Borderless World Foundation explained the importance of Homeopathic medicines aimed at improving the level of health by stimulating the self regulatory mechanism and immunity booster especially in the context of Covid-19. They also appreciated the role of J&K Police for working as frontline workers in fight against Covid-19.

Shri Baqar Samoon-JKPS, CO IRP-20th Bn while addressing reiterated the importance of preventive measures required to contain the spread of COVID-19 and also thanked the NGO group for their cooperation in extending helping hand to the people of surrounding villages of APC Parihaspora.

Besides, Food kits & Immunity boosting medicines (Homeopathic) were also distributed among the needy people of the surrounding villages.
