J&K reports one more COVID-19 deaths, toll rises to 87

Srinagar, June 23(KINS) : Jammu and Kashmir reported one more death due to COVID-19 on Tuesday, taking the fatality count due to the virus in J&K to 87.

Medical Superintendent at SKIMS Professor Farooq Jan told news agency Kashmir Indepth News Service (KINS),An 85-year-old covid-19 positive man from Kulgam district of south Kashmir died at SKIMS Soura on Tuesday morning. He said the patient was a known case of complete heart block with hypertension. He was on temporary pacemaker. He was admitted to the hospital on June 5 and died at 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday Professor Jan added.

With five fresh death, the death toll of COVID- 19 infected persons in J&K has reached 87, ten from Jammu, and 77 from the Valley.(KINS)
