J-K records fresh COVID-19 related death, toll 97

Jammu, June 30 : Jammu and Kashmir reports fresh COVID19 related death on Tuesday morning, taking the fatalities due to COVID19 in the union territory of J&K to 97.

A health official told the news agency KINS that an 85-year-old woman from Kautha area of Jammu Divison died of Covid-19 today morning. He said the woman was under treatment since long, died today morning.

Senior Superintendent of Police Kathua, Shailendra Mishra informed that it is the first death due to COVID-19 in the district.

With this fresh death, the toll rises to 97 in the union territory of J&K—12 from Jammu division and 85 from the Valley.(KINS)
