Police arrest 2 drug peddlers, recovers 4 kg charas

Srinagar, July 11 (KINS): The Jammu and Kashmir police on Saturday arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 4 Kg of charas like substance from their possession.

As per the reports, a police party of PS Harwan, while on naka checking duty on Foreshore – Shalimar Link Road, apprehended two persons travelling in an Alto car bearing registration No. JK01P 6522.


The persons were identified as Mohd Ayoub Wani of Sumbad Bandipora and Mohd Altaf Parra of Sumbal Bandipora. During the search, four (04) kg of charas like substance were recovered from their possession.
While in this case a FIR No. 58/20 under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Harwan and investigation has been set into motion.
