Centre keeping close eye on COVID situation in JK: MOS Health

Srinagar, July 18 (KINS): Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Ashwani Kumar Choubey said that the centre was keeping a close eye on covid situation in the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir and both governments have together initiated all possible steps to contain the Corona pandemic.

He further said that the authorities will continue to work out the way to prevent further spread of Coronavirus infection.

“The Union territory government is doing a commendable job to stop the Covid- 19 pandemic. The centre would ensure that the JK UT did not face any shortage of necessary supplies ,” he told news agency Kashmir Indpeth News Service (KINS).

He advised people to follow all the precautions and guidelines laid by the centre and the Union territory government to successfully fight the coronavirus.

The MoS, health, appreciated the efforts made by the state administrators,doctors and other medical staff in the Union territory.

He however said that the authorities have been directed to take all necessary measures and precautions to curb the spike and spread of Covid-19 in the Union territory.

He advised the Health professionals to put in their best efforts in this time of crisis with added zeal and dedication.(KINS)
