SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 01: Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) has condoled the sudden demise of Rising Kashmir’s correspondent Javeed Ahmad who passed away today morning due to cardiac arrest.
In this connection, a condolence meeting was convened in DIPR complex Srinagar under the chairpersonship of Director, Information & PR, Dr. Syed Sehrish Asgar wherein deep sorrow and grief was expressed over the demise.
The Director said that his death is a great loss to the media fraternity as the deceased played a leading role in highlighting the local public issues through his work.
She also offered her deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and courage for the bereaved family to bear the huge loss.
