Opening of civil secretariat: Secy Estates inspects arrangements at employees’ Quarters

 Jammu Nov 06 (KINS): Secretary Estates Department, M Raju, Friday visited Government quarters to inspect the arrangements put in place for the move employees ahead of opening of civil secretariat and other move offices in the winter capital Jammu.
The Secretary was accompanied by Director Estates, Subash Chibber, Deputy Director Estates Mohammad Alyas Khan, Executive Engineer Jagdish Gupta and other   officers of the Estates department.
During his visit to residential government quarters at Ahata Poonch House Panjtirthi, Ahata Amar Singh, New BC road,  Sarwal and Muthi, the Secretary took stock of basic amenities  made for the move employees. He took round of government quarters and inspected the ongoing renovation works. The concerned officers briefed about the work done so far and future work plan.  He directed the concerned officers to expedite the work as per the quality norms.
He also took stock of power, water, sanitation, security and other services at residential colonies and directed the concerned departments to ensure adequate facilities.The Secretary asked the Estate Department to further gear up men and machinery for timely completion of ongoing repair and renovation works. He also passed directions for development of parks and green spaces in the premises of the residential quarters.
