SEHAT scheme launch: DDC Kishtwar discusses modalities with BDC chairpersons


KISHTWAR, DECEMBER 24: District Development Commissioner, Kishtwar Ashok Kumar Sharma, today chaired an interactive meeting with the Block Development Council chairpersons and discussed the modalities for the launch function of the Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY SEHAT Scheme in the district.
The meeting was attended by the Additional District Development commissioner, Mohammad Hanief Malik; SDM Chattoo Inderjeet Singh; SDM Paddar Varunjeet Singh Charak; Assistant Commissioner Development, Kishore Singh Katoch besides the president MC Kishtwar and BDC chairpersons.
The DDC briefed the BDC chairpersons about the upcoming launch of Ayushman Baharat expanded PM-JAY-SEHAT scheme and sought their cooperation in making this scheme a success .He also invited them for the launch function which is going to be held on 26th of Dec 2020 at all health block headquarters of Paddar, Chhatroo and Dachhan besides at the district Headquarter .
Meanwhile, the BDC chairpersons apprised the DDC about various issued faced by the people of their blocks. He assured them that their genuine grievances will be redressed in a time bound manner.
The DDC informed that the block Diwas will be celebrated at all the block headquarters in the upcoming days,, besides at the 4 designated places in the district to ensure that the grievances of the people are redressed in effective manner at their doorsteps. He assured them that by the end of this month the telecommunication facilities shall be provided to the far flung areas of Ishtiyari Paddar and Dacchan.
Earlier, the DDC chaired a meeting of district officers to review preparedness of the launch programme of the scheme.
District Information Officer, Anoop Kumar and Chief Medical Officer, Dr R S Manhas were directed to ensure wide publicity of the scheme through print and electronic media for the awareness of the common masses.
