In a brief chat with news agency KINS, Director said, “These laws will prevent the post-harvest losses and wastage of produce that happens due to lack of storage facilities. Before these laws middlemen were playing role in selling the farm produce in APMC mandis and now after implementation of these laws the farmers will be free to sell their produce in APMC mandi or any other seller of their choice to get appropriate price of their produce even at their doorstep,” he said.(KINS)
