Srinagar Feb 13 (KINS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has appointed Dean Academic Affairs of Kashmir University Professor Akbar Masood as Vice-Chancellor of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU).
According to an order issued by Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, who is also Chancellor of BGSBU, Professor Akbar Masood has been appointed Vice-Chancellor of BGSBU for three years.
“In exercise of the powers vested in me under stature-2 clause 1 of the schedule appended to the Jammu and Kashmir Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Act, 2002, I Manoj Sinha hereby appoint Professor Akbar Masood as the Vice Chancellor of the Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri for a period of three years from the date he takes charge on the terms and conditions,” the order reads, a copy of which lies with news agency KINS.
