Budget is a Reflection of Modi’s Vision for Atamanirbhar J&K : Vibodh


 
J&K Budget Addresses Requirements of Every Sector and Every Section of Society: Vibodh

Srinagar, Mar 19 (KINS): BJP State General Secretary and former MLC Vibodh Gupta has termed the Rs. 1.08 lakh crore budget for J&K for year 2021-22 as a historic budget.

In a statement issued to news agency KINS, Vibodh Gupta congratulated the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and MOS Anurag Thakur for presenting a holistic budget for Jammu & Kashmir UT by considering the aspirations of all sections of the society. This he said will help in improvement of standards of living and will further boost the tourism sector and will help in revival of the economy post COVID-19.
 
While giving more details about the budget, Vibodh said that the focus of budget is on six pillars, including health and well-being, physical and financial capital, infrastructure specially roads, inclusive development for aspirational Jammu & Kashmir, reinvigorating human capital through mission youth programme and minimum Government and maximum governance is highly encouraging. Expressing his happiness over the special allocation of Rs. 200 crores for Mission Youth Programme, Vibodh said that this will help in channelising the potential and energy of our youth towards growth and development of the UT.
Vibodh expressed his gratitude to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman ans MOS Anurag Thakur for giving priority to CRIF roads through an allocation of Rs. 1500 crore and for PMGSY roads through an allocation of Rs. 500 crores and for a very special maintenance budget of Rs. 28 crore for Mughal Road. Such an initiative will boost connectivity and will also help in tourism promotion and job creation. In his reaction to the allocation of Rs. 200 Crores development fund for the newly constituted DDC’s and Rs. 71 Crores for BDC, Vibodh said that this will help in fast development of far off and remote areas of J&K through these democratically elected institutions. This is a real reflection of PM Modi’s vision for Atamanirbhar J&K. Vibodh also thanked the PM for a very special allocation of Rs. 5212 crores for ‘Jal Jeevan Mission’ and said that this will provide drinking water at the door of every household of the UT of J&K.
Vibodh expressed his great joy and satisfaction on the budget and called upon everyone specially the youth of Jammu & Kashmir to make use of this historic opportunity for a bright future. Overall, Vibodh termed the current budget for J&K as the most thoughtful budget for making J&K UT as the most developed UT of the country.(KINS)
