DC Kupwara reviews arrangements for Job Fair (Rozgar Mela)

Kupwara June 15 (KINS): The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din today convened a meeting of concerned officers, here to review the arrangements being put in place for smooth conduct  of Job Fair (Rozgar Mela) under SANKALP in Aspirational district Kupwara.
It was informed in the meeting that the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (J&K Govt) has transferred funds of Rs. 2.50 Lakh for conducting Job fairs/ Rozgar melas under SANKALP in the district.
The DC was informed that 10 to 15 companies shall be ordered to participate in the Rozgar Mela. The meeting discussed various other points to make the programme successful.
These points include proposal for  counseling of candidates and refreshment thereof, to and fro transport facilities for candidates, advertising and printing of Posters and Banners/ mass media advertising and invitation of Companies and arrangements  for them. Refreshment to Passed out trainees and staff and other persons invited for Mela was also discussed, besides other arrangements.
Principals of  Government Degree College Handwara, Kupwara, Sogam, and Tangdar; Joint Director Planning, General Manager DIC Kupwara; Principal Polytechnic College Kupwara; Superintendents of ITI, Kupwara  and  Handwara; AD Employment Kupwara; LDM Kupwara and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
