Jammu, July 2 (KINS) Initiating setting up the Khelo India State Centre of Excellence (KISCE) for Fencing at Jammu based Maulana Azad Stadium and Rowing at Srinagar based Water Sports Centre, Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council has advertised various posts to be filled for these centres.
As per notification issued, J&K Sports Council and Sports Authority of India (SAI) – Khelo India Division under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports are setting up two centres at twin capitals of in different disciplines to nurture the best talent of the UT.
The Academies will be equipped with world class infrastructure and coaching facilities with adequate scientific backup, focused on participation in world sports tournaments, championships and Olympics, the notification read.
It further read that in order to lead the High-Performance Centre, J&K Sports Council in coordination with Sports Authority of India (SAI), invites applications from eligible citizens of India for hiring of the manpower.
As per the notification, posts of two High Performance Managers is advertised, one each for Fencing and Rowing.
Similarly, two posts of Assistant Coach, two of Young Professional, two of nutritionists/dietician, four posts of Grade-I Masseur (two make, two female), two posts of strengthening and conditioning trainer (Lead), two posts for Grade-II Conditioning Experts and two posts for Grade-II physiotherapists.

The signed applications duly with self-attested copies of all educational qualification, experience and other testimonials are to be sent to the Secretary, J&K Sports Council, New Administrative Block, Bakshi Stadium, Srinagar by July 31, 2021. (Source: UNI )
