Prepare for the greatest experience after eating a nutritious breakfast. You will travel over some of the highest passes in the world on your adventure, and you will be greeted by ever-changing vistas of the desolate landscape. Stop at the café on Khardung-La Pass, the highest all-season motorable road in the world, and take in the scenery; you'll feel as though you're on top of the world. Upon leaving Khardung-la, the terrain changes to a white sand desert as you approach the Nubra Valley, which is home to the Nubra Sand Dunes. Visit the Diskit Monastery, the oldest and biggest monastery in Ladakh, which also contains a sizable Buddha statue, if time permits.

Srinagar, Mar 23 (KINS): The Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinah led administration, happy to see Bollywood in Kashmir, asserted that local artists are getting a platform to showcase their talent.

“We have become successful in bringing back Bollywood in Kashmir. Our efforts will continue to bring more and more Bollywood to Kashmir so that more local artists get the platform to showcase their talent,” one of the top officials close to Manoj Sinha, here in Rajbawan, told news agency KINS.

He said that the fastest growing industry in the world today is the tourism industry. “In the past one year, we have successfully managed to bring back tourism to the Union territory and make J&K the ultimate tourist destination in the world,” he maintained, wishing not to be named.

A number of movies have been shot in Kashmir, in the last one year.

He said that the government is hopeful that more Bollywood superstars will definitely come to Kashmir to shoot films and bring the Valley back to the silver screen like in the 1950s and 60s.

He said that the government will provide more platforms to local artists to showcase their talent and to provide a fillip to the tourism industry in Kashmir and lend support to the people who rely on the industry.

It is to mention here that the Bollywood celebrities who arrived here for shooting have said that the people of Kashmir are full of love and their production houses are soon going to make a big comeback to film in Kashmir.(KINS)
